Store manager - full time 40h / week

We are looking for an experienced retail manager to oversee the daily operations of our store. As manager, your primary job will be to ensure the smooth running of the business.

This role requires availability and flexibility to work throughout the weekend and bank holidays.
Job Responsibilities:
- Organise all store operations and allocate responsibilities to other team members
- Supervise and guide the team towards maximum performance
- Monitor inventory to ensure sufficient stock; perform daily and weekly counts; monitor purchases and balance budgets.
- Manage and oversee shop operations; develop a routine for opening and closing; ensure efficient functioning of the shop; manage the sales floor
- Oversee human resources including: employee training, scheduling, setting sales quotas, and managing overall performance
- Deal with complaints from clients; maintain the store’s reputation; sustain positive patron relationships
- Inspect the store, flag and respond to team concerns, resolve any issues that may arise
- Ensure the very best levels of customer service at all times
- Set staff targets, motivating them and reviewing their progress
- Nurture relationships with our scene
- Offer a personalised experience to our customers
- Keep stock replenished
- Maintain high standards on the shop floor
- Unpack deliveries of new stock and keep up with stock inventory
- Dispatch web orders
- Keep the store clean
Personal Requirements:
- Previous retail experience
- Knowledge of retail management best practices
- Excellent organisation and leadership skills
- An outgoing and enthusiastic individual who shares the Cuemars’ ethos of a conscious and independent lifestyle.
- A keen interest in and knowledge of the brands we stock
- Great communications skills and a natural flair for building relationships
- A creative approach to selling
- Resourcefulness, attention to detail, and comfort offering solutions and clarity where there is ambiguity
- Ability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Fluent spoken and written English. Additional languages would be an advantage
- Outstanding and proven organisational and communication skills
- A team player, able to multitask and work in a dynamic and reactive environment
- Work in a friendly and collaborative manner
