ASTROLOGY SIGN ART PRINTS
ZODIAC ART BY BRUT
Your zodiac artwork series is bold, unfiltered, and unapologetically honest. What inspired you to create star sign art prints that dive into astrological stereotypes with such brutal wit?
Thanks for noticing the unapologetic bit because, honestly, is not that how the universe works? I have always been fascinated by astrology's duality: it’s cosmic wisdom wrapped in chaos.
People are drawn to the zodiac, not just for what the stars tell them but for how they see themselves. I wanted to take that mirror and crack it a little, revealing both the ugly truths and the loveable flaws. Each zodiac sign poster is like a portrait of the cosmic chaos, fun, brutally honest, but deeply human.
It is less about mocking the signs and more about saying, ‘“we are all a mess. Let’s laugh about it.”
Your pieces are striking in their simplicity. Can you share the artistic process behind your zodiac sign prints? How does the rawness in style reflect the theme?
The rawness is intentional. Life is messy, and astrology is not the polished fortune cookie people want it to be. I work with pixel art and modern, edgy compositions to create a kind of classic contemporary style, because the stars are ancient, but how do we see them? Constantly evolving.
For each zodiac sign wall art, I start with a stereotype, something people roll their eyes at and I build layers around it, like humour, absurdity, and just enough truth to make you squirm.
The quotes on your zodiac prints are “brutally honest.” Why this approach? What do you hope viewers take away from your work?
Because brutal honesty is the language of love. When a Leo buys their zodiac signs art and sees, “the world is your stage, and everyone else is just your adoring audience, whether they like it or not.” I want them to laugh and say, “Okay, that’s me.”
These zodiac prints are brutal, sarcastic art prints that tells you that it is okay to be exactly who you are, even if it’s a bit messy.
Astrological art has been done in so many ways. Your style stands out as both modern and classic. How do you balance those influences in your modern art prints?
My astrological sign art leans on painting textures and minimalist compositions to feel timeless, almost universal. The balance comes naturally because astrology itself bridges eras, ancient yet ever-relevant. By mixing aesthetic, the art zodiac signs feel familiar but fresh, something you would want as both a conversation piece and a personal relic on your wall.
Your collection is deeply personal yet universal. How do you connect with your audience through these zodiac sign prints?
The secret sauce? Vulnerability.
Every piece is rooted in a universal truth we all share, we are just trying to figure ourselves out. When someone picks up a star sign print, I want them to feel like it was made just for them. Sure, the humour is sharp, but underneath is kindness.
These zodiac art prints don’t judge you, they celebrate you in all your imperfect glory. It is a reminder that your quirks, flaws, and stereotypes make you. And is not something that worth framing?
What do you hope people feel when they see your zodiac signs art on their walls?
These zodiac sign prints are like having a brutally honest friend who tells it like it is but always has your back.
Whether you are a fiery Aries, an emotional Cancer, or a chaotic Gemini, I want your zodiac signs prints to feel like it belongs in your home and your heart. It is art that connects because it is rooted in the same stars we all look up to, no matter how far apart we are.
What is next for Brut? Any new collections we can look forward to at our art print store?
Maybe something that explores loves, or even absurd existential crisis. Whatever it is, it will still feel personal and universal, because that is the magic of art. For now, I’m excited to keep seeing these zodiac sign prints finding their way into homes and hearts.
