The Juicy Salif citrus squeezer, now described by its creator as a small allien who came to visit our homes is truly an iconic object.
This aesthetic sculptural citrus juicer is the ultimate conversation piece to have at home. As provocative as it is controversial, the Juicy Salif has been one of Alessi’s best seller for the last 30 years and has become the ultimate symbol of design.
The Juicy Salif is made of three long legs that support the teardrop shaped juicer above. This distinctive elongated shape is inspired by the shape of a squid, which came to Starck when squeezing lemon juice over some calamari in a pizzeria whilst on holidays in Italy.
